ED METZGER is an accomplished actor, writer and director. He has been seen
in films, on television, the Broadway stage and has performed at theaters throughout
the country.

FILMS: "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett , "Watchmen" with Billy Crudup, "A Conversation with Einstein" starring Ed Metzger, "Pups" with Burt Reynolds, "Reflections In A Golden Eye" with Marlon Brando, "Car Wash" starring Danny DaVito and Sully Boyar, "Dog Day Afternoon"
starring Al Pacino.

TELEVISION: "Everybody Hates Chris", with Chris Rock, "ER," "Hill Street Blues," "Law & Order,"
"Latenight America," "The Today Show" and many other television shows.

RADIO: "Studs Terkel Show," "Voice of America," "All Things Considered," "Talk of The
Nation" and major talk-shows throughout the country.

BROADWAY: "Einstein: The Practical Bohemian," "Arturo Ui" again with Al Pacino, "Uncle Vanya," "Brecht on Brecht," "Nighthawks," "The Bear," and many others.

NATIONAL TOURING: "Einstein: The Practical Bohemian," "Hemingway: On The Edge" at
theaters nation wide, "Actorfest" and "Close Encounters With Einstein."

When Ed was a student at The University of Alabama and The University of Florida, his
major was medicine. However, the acting bug bit him, and he moved to Los Angeles
for drama training at the prominent Pasadena Playhouse. Drama study continued for
many years in New York and Los Angeles with Lee Strasberg at the prestigious
Actors Studio.

In 1978, Ed created a one-man show, "EINSTEIN: THE PRACTICAL BOHEMIAN," which first
ran in Los Angeles, then on to New York's Off-Broadway, and he has continued to perform
at major theaters throughout the country including The John F. Kennedy Center for The
Performing Arts, Washington DC.

Ed created his second one-man show, "HEMINGWAY: ON THE EDGE," where he captured
the robust and artistic qualities of the greatest writer of the 20th Century. Ed has
performed this show at theaters nation-wide.

With his continuing interest in historical visionaries, he wrote a 13-character play, "No
Naked Heroes" about the great French sculptor, August Rodin. Additional writings include
the screenplay, "Target: Crystalman." Books are, "Einstein Goes Hollywood," "Young
Henry's Close Encounters With Doc Einstein," and "Einstein: Vanilla Is My Favorite."
